We've got a couple new partners to welcome to Team Pursuit today.
The first is Fred and Leisa Ress, their daughter Meredith and son Evan. Janie has been friends with Leisa for years and they have been involved in Women's Ministry events at Traders Point together. Meredith was among my first crew of Middle School students in my ministry 9 years ago.
The Ress's invited us over for a great dinner on Wednesday because they wanted to know how to specifically pray for us as we moved to SoFlo to plant churches. I had the best time hanging out with them. I told Janie how disappointed I was that it took this long for me to get to know Fred and Evan. Plus they are serious about their golf which is a plus in my book.
We also welcome Fall Creek Christian Church in Pendleton, IN and thank them for their support. My father has been preaching at Fall Creek for the past couple years as they went through a transtion of leadership. I believe the best years of Fall Creek are right ahead of them.
